Steinbeck Stories

What happened to Q..?

Howard was quietly resting his eyes, listening to his colleagues as they chatted around him, when he heard a question being directed towards him. He never expected his answer to cause such a ruckus. __________________________ random thing i wrote awhile back figured id post it might rewrite, but again, trying to get into the writing grove lol

A little poem made up entirely of lines from John Steinbeck's beautiful story "Of Mice and Men". Really sad, sorry.

A new ending for the classic 'OF MICE and MEN' by John Steinbeck

"THIS AN EASY COPY OF THE STORY FOR BEGINNERS" -(George and Lennie are friends and the have plans for the future. But lennie is not very smart and he sometimes makes trouble. George wants to help him but is not always easy. Then one night, when Lennie, something happens.what can George do now?Can he help-or is it too late?.)-

A collection of "Found" poetry for various fictional novels. "Found poems take existing texts and refashion them, reorder them, and present them as poems" (Poets.org).

I absolutely adore of Mice and Men, and as I wanted to write something with the two main characters in it, I wrote a short prequel - as I couldn't really write a sequel, if you know what I mean. I use Lennie and George in this story, as well as my own rendition of Aunt Clara. - George visits Miss Clara's house to apologise for an incident with Lennie, who he'd only met once before. He finds out who Lennie is and what his Aunt's true feelings are. -

Found poems are quite self explanatory by their title. Simply, lines are taken from a text and rearranged to create a poem.

Mini stories that I earned when I played a kindergarten event in Bungo Stray Dogs: Tales of the Lost for about 8 hours straight... Also the cover is my actual score from playing this game..
