A little poem made up entirely of lines from John Steinbeck's beautiful story "Of Mice and Men". Really sad, sorry.

Mini stories that I earned when I played a kindergarten event in Bungo Stray Dogs: Tales of the Lost for about 8 hours straight... Also the cover is my actual score from playing this game..

An inspired novel opening based on John Steinbeck's "East Of Eden" The scene is based in Nothern Scotland, in Drumnadrochit. The story is narrated just as how "East Of Eden" was, that being Steinbeck describing his own childhood experiences when he was growing up in California. The ending of the first chapter in "East Of Eden" foreshadows events later on in the novel, as does my novel opening. This story is a work in progress!

Jessa-Lynn is a Seer, a girl born with the ability to see Angels. Having fallen in love with the High Angel, Jessa is ecstatic when she discovers that this year's trials are not for a position as High Angel, but instead for the current High Angel, Jason's, hand, so of course her and her guardian Angel, Lydia leave for the Realm of Light immediately. However, trouble ensues when Stephanie, one of the other entrees, makes a fuss about Jessa's relations with Jason. Is Jessa strong enough to take on full Angels with her half-blood abilities? Will Jessa and Jason live happily ever after? What kinds of abilities will Jessa discover in her quest for true love? And what dirty secrets will Jessa find out about Stephanie?
