5 months after the death of her best friend, and boyfriend, Elena Gilbert is now back at college, trying to move on with her life. She slowly begins to adjust back into college life, until a tragic event brings her running back home. There she finds a broken Stefan Salvatore who hasn't yet gotten over his brothers death. While Elena does her best to help Stefan move on, she also has to deal with her returning feelings for the love of her life that she let go....Stefan! Elena and Stefan are oblivious to Damon and Carolines feelings and they end up falling in love. Both Damon and Caroline feel like there are never the one. But with the added Vampire drama Stefan and Elena's relationship doesn't last long. Stefan is there to support Caroline through the grief of losing her mother while Damon is there to support Elena through the grief of losing half her family. Can these friendships turn into something more, something that Caroline and Damon have been wishing for??

The children of these ships will work together in order to get there parents back safe and sound. Even though the children have their differences all that matters is that their parents return home so they can go their separate ways. At least that's what they hope. She was all alone when she woke up in the middle of the woods. It was dark. Her skin was cold and she had a hunger that overwhelmed her. She couldn't remember anything. Not even her own name. The pounding pain in her head made her raging. Suddenly she hears someone else's breathing. She looked around. There she saw a man sitting with his back against her. "You're awake." He said.

She doesn't even remember how it started. He'd just called one night, much too late, and she'd been up studying and picked up her phone without even glancing and then they'd just...talked. About nothing, really. After that, it just becomes a thing.
