Stella and Kelly recently tied the knot with their firehouse family there to witness it all. Next on their journey is starting a family. Their journey hasn't been quite easy, Stella finds herself struggling to become pregnant. What happens when 51 gets called to a elementary school fire, Stella saves a young girl. Little do they know the young girl has a dark and terrifying past. Will Stella and Kelly become the right parents for the girl, or will she go back to the system? Will she open up to them? Stella forms the sweetest bond with the girl after saving her life.

It take place a year after season 6 episode 15 where they get together. It shows them take a big step in their relationship and how life with many ups and downs and and unexpected things pop up

Strongly based on Dick Wolf's amazing shows in the One Chicago universe and its characters with only having Delilah Averton and her daughter Brinley being my characters.

She finally takes a stand and leaves him for her daughters sake. She phones the only person that knows can help her, that would soon become very special to her.
