Taking a turn on favorite ship Stella Kidd and Kelly Severide. From the moment they first meet...or so.

Stella and Kelly are both lieutenants at the Chicago Fire Department, fire department 51 to be exact. Stella found out that she was pregnant but days later she loses the baby, Stella feels emotionally stressed because she thinks that she isn't capable of being a mother, simply she struggles and wants to give up. Kelly is doing his absolute best by trying be there for her and the supportive husband that she married. Stella is in on the verge of wanting to give up but then comes the day that they are called to a 5 alarm fire, where Stella saves the life of a young girl, who she instantly falls in love with, her and Kelly talk about adopting her. And they did, Stella and Kelly as parents!

This is a fanfic surrounding Stella Kidd, Kelly Severide, and my own character Rebecca Kidd. Some things from Stella's past that she hoped she would never have to endure again resurface. Stella has to decide whether to tell Kelly or keep her past to herself. The life she thought she had gotten away from, comes back to haunt her when Stella's sister come into town. One Shot of S10 E17. There was a moment in this episode of a victim who suffered control and abuse when Stella Kidd's eyes showed a window into her past. She was desparate to save the girl from her abusive boyfriend. She told Kelly Severide that she knew about being choked because of her ' ex'. But nothing more was said about it until she said Adrianna would still have to live with her scars..... My guess is that there's a conversation she needs to have with Severide about her scars.....
