Princess Twilight Sparkle and Prince Dusk Shine leads an unlikely squad of allies against Queen Chrysalis and King Metamorphosis and the changelings to save their friends and all of Equestria again.

Set after The Eclipsing Obscurity Of Time and before The Crystalling. Twilight and Dusk have nightmares of all the timelines where their previous villains won.

A friendship problem arises in Canterlot and it's up to Twilight, Dusk, Sunset, Glare, Starlight and Stellar to solve it and that problem turns out to be the Royal Siblings arguing. Meanwhile Twilight and Dusk deal with royal problems of their own.

Queen Chrysalis and King Metamorphosis returns to exact their revenge on Starlight Glimmer, Stellar Gleam and the Mane Six and Colt Six.

Twilight Sparkle, Dusk Shine, Spike and Barbra are going through timeline after timeline in order to stop Starlight and Stellar from messing up the Sonic Rainboom...but the disastrous presents the four come to are so bad Twilight and Dusk make a bold choice instead of instantly trying to stop Starlight and Stellar, they fix the altered Equestria's.

Starlight Glimmer and Stellar Gleam return for revenge against Twilight and Dusk and casts a spell that changes the course of Equestria's history, Twilight and Dusk try to stop the two from changing history, but due to the events they get caught up in something worse than they could even imagine.
