This fic was a little project that I worked on with @TheZeldaNerd where we combined our writing styles into one work. I wrote Steph's POV and she wrote Mat's POV. While Matt lived up in Hope Square, deep in the massive, labyrinth-like dungeons, lives the Dagger Clan. A group of murderers and thieves content to hide in the shadows and revel in their own cruelty. However, one Dagger, Nate, doesn't quite enjoy the dark as much as the rest. In fact, he dreams of the light from outside the prisons he hides in. When an encounter with a prisoner leaves him wanting more, Nate will make a terrible mistake that will take someone's life.

"She's everything you're ever gonna need" The brunette female smirked as she turned to Matt, nearly growling out the next line, "And then I hope she cheats" Noticing how Matt stiffened, Stephanie smirked even wider as she continued, "Like you did on me" A few gasps were heard from the audience, Stephanie felt a single tear fall from her eye as she glared at her ex husband. Memories of that night coming back to haunt her as she continued singing into the microphone, "And then I hope she cheats.. Like you did on me"
