stephanie hennig has kept a huge secret and part of her life from her cold and strict family for as long as she could remember now, but now it's finally out. stephanie is a lesbian. her family--basically being anti-anythingotherthanstraight-- automatically kicked her out into the snowy streets of december and told her never to come back. she has nowhere to go, well-- almost nowhere. she goes to her best friend, michelle diamond, for a place to stay until things blow over or she can find another place to stay. little does naive little michelle know, that letting stephanie in may help her come to terms with something she never wanted to come to terms with. everyone has troubles. even international dance champions. with great success comes a lot of pressure - from family, peers and even yourself. with each chapter written by a different fan of the next step - this is how we would change the next step, if it were up to us. we have nothing against tns writers, it's just an opportunity for the fandom to show off our creativity :) warning ; some topics covered in this book are mature topics.
