From the moment he found out about the time machine, Bucky knew he would lose Steve. Steve never truly belonged in this century, and Bucky could tell that he still longed to return to Peggy. So, when Steve didn't return immediately from putting the stones back in their correct times, Bucky wasn't all that surprised. Heartbroken, yes, but not surprised. But because Steve tampered with the timeline by getting married to Peggy, the world that Bucky knows is crumbling around him. People were disappearing, wars that he never knew existed were destroying cities and even countries, and his friends, The Avengers, were the only ones that remembered life before Steve changed it. So, with the remaining Pym Particles, they send Bucky back in time to fix Steve's mistake before it is too late. Now, Bucky just has to convince his best friend to leave the love of his life to come back to the future, where he is unhappy, and has just lost 2 of his closest friends. Easy, right? (PROBABLY DISCONTINUED BECAUSE I HAVE NO TIME TO WRITE!!!)

Bucky didn't know what made him walk into that old coffee shop that day, but he's glad as hell he did. Its also an AU. My first attempt at a fanfiction, so deal with it accordingly. Comments welcome. Good ones and bad ones. This story is partially inspired by the Landon Pigg song, Falling in Love at the Coffee Shop. Bucky had been watching Steve for years--since kindergarten. He'd become so obsessed that his friends made fun of him for it, teased him about this crush that will never amount to anything else because everyone knows Steve Rogers isn't gay. So finally, Bucky decided to drop his crush on the boy who never gave him a second glance. He planned to focus on himself for his last year in that stupid small town, and, long story short, Bucky grew up. It's now the start of senior year, and as the newly un-closeted gay boy at Marvel High, Bucky expects hateful, rude, and harsh comments, as well as some stupid pranks.
