after the death of her single father, juliette harris finds herself moving from philadelphia, pennsylvania back to his hometown of hawkins, indiana to live with her wealthy grandparents in search of a simple, easy senior year of highschool. unfortunately, her new neighbor steve harrington would make that impossible

Hawkins lab has been keeping a secret on ice for almost a decade. When the power goes out she finally thaws, but she just might melt for Steve Harrington. The story begins toward the end of Season 2 where Dustin's party meets Nancy and Jonathan outside of Hawkins lab. They find more than just Mike and Will there when a subject from Project Looking Glass escapes during the power outage and Demodog attack. Steve finds himself dumped and dethroned in record time. Not only that, but he seems to be running a daycare for monster hunters. This was definitely not how he imagined his senior year going. Things get weirder when one of his new best friends turns out to be a superhuman who somehow makes getting over Nancy much easier. A slow burn romance of the "Friends to Lovers" variety, this will be a SFW fic in terms of the romance, but will feature cannon violence and gore.
