Steven has been having to deal with a murder case in New Homeworld as well as Connie breaking up with him, which drove him into a depressive state.. The future isn't so perfect after all. Spinel soon gets tired of everything and flees to Earth. With a group of gems coming to shatter her and with Steven being the only one she can trust, all hope seems to be lost.. ..But is it? --- this is my first time writing a steven universe fanfic, so dont kill me for any continuity errors!
