James Buchanan Barnes is just another father to a six-year-old in America, his Winter Soldier past put behind him when T'challa's scientists found a cure to kill the effects of the serum inside him. Of course, the cure has to have a side effect to it. T'challa's cure entails one horrible side effect: Bucky will lose his memories of the person closest to him. I think we all know who that is. Then, out of the blue, a crisis strikes Bucky's family life. Fearful and stricken, he is at a loss at how to salvage his crumbling life, when he meets a man named Steven Grant Rogers. Bucky had been watching Steve for years--since kindergarten. He'd become so obsessed that his friends made fun of him for it, teased him about this crush that will never amount to anything else because everyone knows Steve Rogers isn't gay. So finally, Bucky decided to drop his crush on the boy who never gave him a second glance. He planned to focus on himself for his last year in that stupid small town, and, long story short, Bucky grew up. It's now the start of senior year, and as the newly un-closeted gay boy at Marvel High, Bucky expects hateful, rude, and harsh comments, as well as some stupid pranks.
