After graduating from college, Peridot was trying to finally start her career as a game developer. She finally gets what she thinks to be her big break, and the gang makes the move to Empire City. Just when everything seemed like it was working out for her, the FBI comes knocking at her doorstep. Her girlfriend, Lapis Lazuli, seems to once again have to face her past, turning their life upside down once more. This story is the sequel to another book I wrote called "Worth Protecting." 'Before I Die' is a story about a girl called Sarah Diamond. She (supposedly) died when she was 21 via a car accident. This is her life story. A little side note, this is a human AU from the characters of Steven Universe.
