Steve has spent about a year at his internship with Stark Films. He has big dreams of one day becoming a director or producer. For now, he's stuck babysitting actors, including Bucky, the rising-star actor in their upcoming film. Steve Rogers is a rookie NASCAR driver looking for a crew chief. The rest of his crew is lined up and ready for their first season, but they still need a crew chief. The search seems impossible until Natasha Romanoff, one of Steve's crew members, sets up an interview with someone Steve hasn't seen since his grade school years. She doesn't realize that they know each other, but she does know that they're soulmates. Bucky had been forced to live with Steve for the time being, Fury not allowing him to be anywhere near the rest of civilization until he was absolutely positive that Bucky was not a threat.
