Summary: It didn't matter to Bucky that his timer was extremely long, or that it wasn't on his left wrist like everyone else's. No, he just lived his life to the fullest as per the words of his father. A soulmate didn't matter to Bucky. Until it did. Until a big buff Steve rescued him from the HYRDA base and he saw how happy they were together, Steve and his soulmate Peggy. Until he fell off that train and he realized, that he wouldn't live to see his own soulmate. Then he regained his memories and realized that he didn't deserve a soulmate. But then he found her.

Every once in a while I get ideas for short stories about Agent Peggy Carter. They often also include Steggy or pay tribute to Steve Rogers, who was assumed dead for most of Peggy's life. In those stories I try to acknowledge all things that are canon or headcanons out of previous stories I've written and this is where I collect those stories. They will not necessarily be in the right order timeline-wise but I might change the order if I ever choose to complete this collection. I hope you will enjoy the stories. Peggy Carter finds herself at the Stork Club a week next Saturday just as she had made Steve swear to be for their date...alone. Watching other couples on the dance floor and grabbing a few drinks Peggy wonders what made her want to come there. Even though she knew perfectly well showing up at the date wasn't going to miraculously make Steve come back, she kept getting the feeling she needed to be there. As her eyes scan over the crowd her gaze lands on a figure that's just stepped through the door. His outfit is completely torn and disheveled, he has cuts all over his arms and face, and he looks exhausted. But he manages a smile and a single phrase. "Sorry I'm late."
