In this SU AU, Spinel is a Mermaid that's been captured and is about to be put on display until Steven sets her free. Determined to get Spinel back home, Steven is now on the run from the law and ends up taking several detours along the way as he and Spinel dig deeper into the Humans reason for capturing the Mermaids.

Dreamedia, a movie production company, asks them to write songs for them since UM is the best of the best. Proudly, they accept it. The movie includes many celebrities such as Bizzy, Lapis Ayotunde Lazuli, and so many more! It should be fun to work with Dreamedia and catch up with some old friends. However, things backfire, and while he thinks it'll be all fun and music, he meets someone that isn't so fond of him and UM. Spinel Stiles, actress and singer. He doesn't know why she hates him so, but could he prove her wrong about her assumptions? Can she forget the past and at least try to get along with him? What if they got into a relationship? How would his mother react?! Meanwhile, things don't go so well just as they think they are. What happens to these two? Why would Rose get pissed if they got in a relationship? The first novel of my Beyond The Future: A Steven Universe series. It is the beginning of Steven and Spinels journey. And it takes place before Steven leaves for Beach City and after his meltdown. Romance, drama, and angst included.

Steven didn't know how it happened but now here he was, in a locked bedroom, with no way out. Steven knew that the city was torn between two sides, Crystal Gems versus the Diamonds. So since he thought he lived and worked on neutral territory, he never thought he'd be taken from his friends and family, and now be in the possession of the Diamonds.

I had this idea in mind, which is really just a one shot. * * * Basically, Spinel is reset. And not the reset to where she has the heart buns and all that. It's the reset to where her memory IS sorta erased, BUT...she's lead to believe by White she is Steven's servant. How did this happen, you ask? It all started when Spinel got into an accident, harming her gem and once Steven gets concerned enough to where even he can't fix her, he seeks White's help to get his love back. However, little did he know it was too good to be true.

Edit: I am not gonna work on this, however I am making an AU with a similar storyline! Edit: Since I am sick, I can't update this for some time. I will on weekends, however. Steven Universe is an ordinary person, just an average college student along with his best friends. However, in town, things are happening. A murder occurs and some people are going missing. A lot of people are scared to death. Including Steven. He just can't shake the fact that somebody is watching him, even when he is alone. He starts finding shortcuts to get to his apartment faster. All of the time, he feels like somebody is watching him. And that feeling is getting stronger by the day.
