It's been nearly a year since Steven set off on a journey across the country, fully committed to therapy to address his emotional struggles and rediscover himself. During this time, he hasn't seen his loved ones in person, and the longing to reunite with them-to share a warm embrace, recount his adventures, and reveal all he's learned-has grown stronger with each passing day. So, when his therapist finally discharges him, Steven decides it's time to return to his hometown, Beach City. He's not the same person who left, though. Gone is the boy who always put others first, no matter the cost to himself. He's learned the importance of self-care, realizing that he's not obligated to save the world at the expense of himself, that his happiness and health are just as important as anyone else's. Yet, just as he begins to reconnect with his old life, disaster strikes. Homeworld is attacked, Gems on Earth start to mysteriously disappear, and old enemies return seeking revenge. Now, caught between his desire for a peaceful life and the responsibilities of his past role as a savior of the universe, Steven must find a way to reconcile his newfound perspective with the demands of protecting those he cares about.

Steven has been living peacefully with the crystal gems for 14 years. But little did he or he gems know what the government would do to him and the crystal gems after they figured out.

Steven and Connie have spent a lot of time together, three years to be exact. In this time Steven can summon his shield, make the bubble last longer and withstand more pressure, fuse with all of the gems, and even fuse with humans(if they agree). But, one thing he can not do is take Rose's sword out of the scabbard until one day, a monster appears while Steven and Connie are having a sleepover. The only problem is that the monster's weak spot...requires Steven to use the sword.

After being trapped in a bubble for 3,968 years, you where popped free. While the crystal gems decide whether to put you back in your pink prison cell or not, you begin to sprout unwanted feelings for the smaller purple one 'amethyst'. [the reader will be considered a female, so please don't scream at me for it. plus i'm ten, so sorry if you don't like the story or there's a lot of spelling mistakes. wups. oh well.]

Lapis and Peridot have headed over to the temple to visit the other Crystal Gems, but when they are about to warp back to the barn, a severe thunderstorm struck making it dangerous to walk outside, so they decided to stick around a little while and all just play some good old fashioned video games. All had gone pretty well until someone had brought up something that did not sit right with Lapis. This story is a Lapidot, Pearlmethyst, Conniverse and Rupphire fanfic. If you disapprove of any of the ships named, I respect your opinion, but I wouldn't recommend you reading this. None of the characters are mine. All characters are from the show Steven Universe, which is not mine either. Steven Universe is owned by Rebecca Sugar.
