Mo and her little brother, Alex are definitely not living the dream. They live with abusive parents, in a screwed up town, a missing dad, and all sorts of drama. And if things weren't bad enough already they're about to get a whole lot worse.

Squints and y/n has been friends since they played in sandlot but everyone drifted away had there own lives to deal with but me and squints stayed close until we had to move he had a new friend group I got in there school and fell for his best friend joey but I promised myself I didn't like him but I think I lied !

The title is somewhat self explanatory. My sort of spin on the old ryme "sticks and stones" that used to, and still does, bother me.

When you've been bruised brokenly inside and out with the one thing you believed in, while growing up. The one pure geniune love you were taught and shown of. The one thing you had hope of sharing with someone someday, just to then find out that there's no such thing as pure and genuine in a world full of selfish and cruel evil wants. Would you still give it another chance if it knocks on your door and it seems perfect yet the broken pieces of your heart says otherwise? Would you open up for more hurt? Would you let someone hold it again? Would you jump in the "what if it's a trap" again for a second shot at love? Would you? . . . This is an old Warrior Cat's story. I ended writing it in may of 2019, though I had began writing it in early 2018z I have no plans to continue writing it as it's no longer a main story of mine, but I'm posting it so I may compare how I've progressed throughout the years I plan on writing non-fiction stories. If I ever choose to pick it up it will be a complete restart and actually be written in a novel format rather than a playwright one.
