Hiccup Horendous Haddock III loved Berk with all his heart. It was the place where he was born, and where his family lived for generations. He would do anything to keep them safe, to help them grow and improve, even if it meant he could no longer live on Berk itself. Even if it meant risking his own life. And even if it meant everyone there...thought he was dead.

Of all the ways to go out, drowning in a shipwreck wasn't what Eska wanted to do. Thankfully she survives, but just barely. Bruised and starving, burnt from lighting, the poor young girl washes up on the shores of Berk. Hiccup stumbles across her wreckage, and coaxes her Changewing into letting him help. Only when she wakes up, she can't remember anything. Mirren has spent quite a long time stuck all alone in a world devoid of any other human life. He spends all his time in boredom and loneliness with deafening silence as his only company. At least, that was how his life was until a door appeared in his home. Through a window in the door, he was able to see a young woman sound asleep on the other side. Mirren couldn't help but hope that maybe he would no longer have to spend all of his life alone.

It often gets her into trouble she never seems to be able to complain about. She doesn't want to be the girl who gets bullied for standing up for others, but if not her, who? She questions everything. She needs to know, she wants to know.. is there really a difference between she and her, him and he? No. She seems to be the only one to realize this.

20 years passed after the betrayal of the queen, the lands has fallen into darkness after many wars and by the power of the dark king.
