But when Hiccup befriends a dragon, things begin to change in inexplicable ways, and that's not even counting the very determined twin who is intent on making him see her as a potential partner in life, not that he realizes that, but, well...this is our sweet, oblivious Hiccup we're talking about. Through it all, Hiccup manages to defeat the Queen of the nest, but just because the dragons aren't attacking anymore, doesn't mean Berk will easily adapt to the changes. Tough decisions must be made that will change all they've ever known or dreamed of, leading them on the adventure of a lifetime. I don't own HTTYD or its characters.

When Hiccup encounters three apparently futuristic or multidimensional travelers, they get sucked right into his chaos as he tries hiding Toothless from the world. Berk might not trust them... but Hiccup does. Keeping them and Toothless safe drags on another unintended series of adventures.

Mistreated and malnourished, little Hiccup doesn't understand why most everyone on Berk hates him. Gobber notices the abuse and steps in, but things quickly spiral out of control and the only way to keep Hiccup safe is to smuggle him off of Berk and into the hands of their allies. Hiccup is soon adopted into another tribe and grows up discovering what having a true family is like, but the past never stays in the past, as he soon discovers when Berk reaches out to the famed Dragon Master for help. Will he help the tribe who wronged him or leave them to suffer? Only time will tell. And, per usual, I don't own HTTYD or its characters.

Family is who you choose. That is a lesson Hiccup learned from an early age and one that has helped him through all the ups and downs in life. His family might be large and unorthodox, but it's all he's ever known and he wouldn't have it any other way. I don't own How to Train Your Dragon or its characters, just my OCs.

Y/n has always been Hiccup's best friend. She has also always calmed the dragons around her, yet no one knows why (yet). She is the "sister" of Astrid Hofferson, and she was found at a young age by Alin. However, when Hiccup shoots down a night fury finding another at its side a secret is revealed about y/n. This series covers the entirety of the first movie and introduces "Dragons Riders of Berk." I also decided to give Astrid's parents names, they are Ferguson (dad) and Alin (mom) her name is pronounced Ah-lyn. Anyway! Astrid later runs away to escape an arranged marriage to Snotlout, finding herself in a strange and wonderful world. She makes friends with a pair of wild twins, a dragon who disappears, a young man who likes to make outfits, an elusive white dragon, and a few other crazies. Y/N Haddock, the elder sibling of Hiccup. After an unfortunate series of events, leading up to Y/N leaving the village of Berk, they are left to their own devices and survives in the wilderness scared to return to the island they called home. *This is my first story of any kind, so I do ask for constructive criticism. I might try to write other stories like the other movies, RoB, and RttE. But, I'll just have to see. This does take place before and during the first movie. Hiccup never knew the truth of what his mom had done, nor did he know about his sister. A sister not even Stoick knew existed. One Valka had after she left. Two siblings with a love for dragons but two different backgrounds. One a leader and the other a warrior.

There's too much at risk and there's something out there, something that only he and Toothless can resolve. So he leaves, along with his new wife, to make peace for the dragons and save them from a tyrant.
