Follow the story of a girl who meets the dragon riders, help them defeat Dagur and any other enemy that comes onto their path. This is a Hiccup x reader story that follows pretty much the entire race to the edge series. Have fun reading! Does contain some lemon here and there.

Y/n has always been Hiccup's best friend. She has also always calmed the dragons around her, yet no one knows why (yet). She is the "sister" of Astrid Hofferson, and she was found at a young age by Alin. However, when Hiccup shoots down a night fury finding another at its side a secret is revealed about y/n. This series covers the entirety of the first movie and introduces "Dragons Riders of Berk." I also decided to give Astrid's parents names, they are Ferguson (dad) and Alin (mom) her name is pronounced Ah-lyn. Anyway! When Hiccup encounters three apparently futuristic or multidimensional travelers, they get sucked right into his chaos as he tries hiding Toothless from the world. Berk might not trust them... but Hiccup does. Keeping them and Toothless safe drags on another unintended series of adventures.

Right after meeting Toothless, Hiccup realizes that he's able to shapeshift into a dragon.... and that Toothless is able to shift into a human. It leads them to question if there's far more to their connection than they've ever realized before, but can they really get answers when Vikings hate human-dragon shifters just as much as dragons? Or when Hiccup knows he can never let the rest of Berk know what he truly is?

Hiccup spent his life thinking Toothless, the best friend who he grew up side-by-side with, was just born different. All other dragons are evil, right? And then his mother brings him in on a secret, one she's been hiding since Hiccup was a baby, and Hiccup has to question his place in the Viking's longest war.

Now that its just the two of them, they both end up learning how to survive alone together in the wildness and living surrounded by dragons his whole life makes hiccup lose connection with the human world. But then their life takes a turn for the worse when they are captured by a man who calls himself a dragon master, forced to work for him, hiccup leads and attack on a village which leaves him grounded when toothless breaks his wing. He discovers so many things about this village and its people which change his life forever for good or for worse.

Hiccup, the wannabe Viking turned dragon rider, has runaway right before he was to prove himself to the village. As well as his father. With Astrid the only one knowing the truth about Hiccup's life and stepping in for next in line as chief, training to be the best warrior she could ever be consumes her.
