They give him exact instructions to follow if he is interested. He then calls up the Avengers to help him figure out the best course in action. little did they know how crucial their choice would matter to their survival. this is after BoO but before Civil War, this isn't a 'everyone died and Percy has to face Tartarus' thing or a 'avengers we have to detain this terrorist and then make him an avenger' thing. there is a moderate amount of angst though, cause you can't ignore all the trama Percy has.
