The moment you clicked on this book started off straight away as a lie. This story should be in nonfiction, but I myself don't frequent the nonfiction books. My attention is usually drawn into the teen fiction books because we want the story with the happy endings. Where the girl falls in love with the boy, where all their struggles don't matter anymore now that they're together, where they usually live happily ever after with a juicy epilogue from the characters six years in the future. I regret to inform you that this is not one of those stories. This is the story of my life so far and the way it has affected me. The way it made me feel even when other people have told me I was overreacting. This is my #justwriteit story.

Margaret always talked about writing her story but could never get beyond the first chapter. Born illegitimately to a domestic servant in 1930s Brighton; the circumstances of her birth affected her whole life. Subject to emotional abuse from foster parents and her grandmother she married young and had four children. She was a loving mother and grandmother but couldn't find it in her to love herself. This is her story.

Tey has been in the closet before, he knows how it feels; it's suffocating, its frustrating and it is draining. He also knows the trauma that homophobia can cause a gay person, and even though he has moved away from the place where it all happened and he could now be openly gay in Manhattan where people are more accepting, his memory fails to forget the pain of not staying in the closet, not staying in his now safe confines. Having lost all hope and the will to trust, he meets someone that threatens to destroy his safe place, that dares him to be proud of his sexuality. And what happens when the one person he allows in his heart, that saves him becomes his tormentor, surely his heart cannot take too many blows. Will he ever let anyone else into his heart? Having been betrayed and embarrassed more than once before, will he take that leap of faith? Will he risk his heart being broken or will he just let what could be true love pass? Abuse is an issue often whispered about in corners, or hidden behind through romantic movies and music. Depicted as the new normal, very few stand against it. This month we step out out of the shadows and we shine light on this topic that often leaves us with few words to say. As we leave behind 2016 and enter into the new year. We uncover ways to deal with abuse and how to speak out. We will nolonger stand in shame but we will step out from the confines of society.

This is not a Merry Christmas. It is a Murder Christmas.

How do you know when someone doesn't love you anymore? Adelaide had started to suspect that her childhood love was drifting further and further away from her. She felt like she was losing him, and so in return, she decided to lose herself in order to keep him. Jason had been her safety net ever since she was 11 years old in a brand new town and life. He became her start, and her end. And so when Jason gets a golden opportunity that requires him to leave behind Adelaide, she's left behind with a broken heart and a bucketload of tears. Now stuck in a ratty old town where everyone knows everyone, she couldn't understand why she suddenly felt alone. Jason was starting to experience the world outside their small town, his temptations getting the best of him as he slowly started to forget his life back home. Life was changing for both of them as one individual followed temptation and adventure, while the other was left to live with half a heart. Which left them with one more question; Is your first love really worth it, even when you feel as if you aren't?

Vincent is your typical high school nerd, whose world was limited by books, chemistry and a possessive girlfriend. But accidentally stumbling upon the masked star Artemis inside his school was the last of all his plans. Cause Artemis is an anonymous internet sensation, known for her out-of-the-world music. Vincent knew secrets always need more secrets to keep them a secret. Thus he didn't want any part of the secret that has now landed in his hands. But Artemis is hell-bent on keeping her identity a secret, even if it meant threatening Vincent by exploiting his innocence and honesty. Even so, time and love soon proved that it's tough for the star to keep her secret. Cause every secret has a price and Artemis had to pay her own.
