Stops Stories

This is a collection of poetry that deals with time. The prequel to this collection is, Reality. They both deal with philosophical questions. Reality questions existence. Complicated Times is more about time. Though those are the focuses of each collection, there are still poems with other questions, in both the collections. I'm making this confusing. But of course, what can be more confusing than philosophy? Time shall tell. :D Also, some of the poems you will read may be cheerful- while others will be morbid. The farther you read into the compilation of poems, the more contemplative they will get. So beware.

Lyric Martin has always had it all. A perfect family, friends, and everyone has always loved her. Until one day when she is dared to jump off of a roof of an old abandoned building, into a lake at least forty feet below. Lyric's voice is permanently damaged, and her parents' send her to live with Lyric's Aunt and Uncle, who live two hours away from where she lives. Lyric falls into a deep depression, and will not talk to anyone...Until she meets Jared. A boy who will not give up on her no matter what. Will Lyric fall deeper into a depression? Or will Jared win over her heart, and change the way she sees life?

Books are far more patient than people, they have a lot to say, but they tell and retell. .....when we need them ......they are far spacious to have possibilities we never even thought of. time never stops, or is it nothing ever stops time?

What happens when a couple of teenagers get stuck in a pretty large dumbwaiter? What will they face at every stop? Will they make it to the end?
