Victor Neal is young man in High School, he's studious and intelligent, however lacks confidence and has severe anxiety. One night, a parasitic, pixie-like creature called Noxobententus, attaches onto Victor and slowly takes over his personality and emotions. Later on, he befriends a girl he fancies named Zia, and quickly become close friends. Zia has been isolated from her former friendship circle and has always been said to be the "odd girl in the mix." At first, both of them seem to have a difficult time to let down their defenses, but slowly build trust in each other. However, the following school year, they are to be inevitably separated. When they are in different schools, their communication drastically drops as Victor becomes more possessed by the Noxobententus in him. Leaving broken bridges, shattered trust, and wounds to their once blissful philia. As time goes on, the Noxobententus becomes stronger with every person Victor hurts. Yet, he doesn't know how to defeat the monster within him. What will put his mental madness to bed and wake up the true Victor? Will Zia and Victor's friendship ever be restored? Will love or hate win?
