Zella Bowman has lived with her great aunt Grace for as long as she can remember. Great Aunt Grace is a fine caregiver to her, except for her extreme religious views, which have caused her to keep Zella cooped up at home for nearly 18 years. Finally, in her senior year, Zella finally convinces her aunt to let her attend school. The only catch? It's an all girls Catholic school... ...which, as it turns out, is not so much of a catch for a closeted lesbian.

The first part of this book is so far the deepest thing I've ever written. This book DEFINITELY won't appeal to everyone, but I'm proud of it and I want it to be out there. (Edit) This will probably turn into the 'Me Ranting In Story Form' book. So yeah. Just so you know, if I start a story here, it will most likely be a one-shot. Jordan Burns believed herself to be a very ordinary and simple person. Honestly. She had a set routine, which included exciting adventures such as poking around in her garden, or chilling on her favorite sofa marathoning cartoons. Dictionary definition of normality really. Well...normality as long as you overlook the fact that one; she's only fifteen, two; living alone in an abandoned house, and three; spending eternity watching shows via stolen wifi. Oh yeah. She's also kinda dead.

Cameron goes to the same summer camp every year. Last summer, he and a girl named Izie hit it off really well, and he'd been looking forward to seeing her again. But now he has a boyfriend, and Steven is coming along to camp this summer. Cameron emails home every evening, keeping his parents updated.
