Life is cruel. I'm sure many can understand the weight of these few words. But none know pain and joy like Erin Ardvark does. Pain to some people may just be tripping and spraining your knee, it may just be a relative you never knew existed die, it could be many, many things. But only few have suffered like Erin has. No friends, no support, a dysfunctional family, and a horrible, lonely life. He needs help. His total isolation has driven him to the point of even suicide. It is unlikely someone will be able to help him now. Not now. He is forever alone, it seems. But maybe, he doesn't need help. Maybe the only person who can save him is himself. As a new student arrives at Erin's school, hope arises with it. Erin now seeks hope in protecting this child. For in fact, his despair saved Erin. Now, he has a purpose. An oath. To protect this boy from the horrors he has faced, the demons he has fought. Erin is now fully in peace. For he doesn't need a guardian angel. No. Erin now is the guardian angel.
