"Civilization has nearly fallen as Blood Storms swept through major cities, monsters of the bloody shadow followed in the storm and killed all that got in their way. Cities are massacred and the storms rage across the planet." It is a two hundred years later and the world has slowly recovered. The might Blood Storm that once covered the entire planet has fractured into thousands of smaller Storms around the world. The countryside is constantly ravaged by Blood Storms, no one goes in them unless they want to travel to another city. Unlike the countryside, cities have a chance to rebuild but mistrust and violence over resources have made it hard for them to come back together. Totalitarian groups formed from old military remnants, promising to save the world but secretly want it to stay fractured just for their own gain of power in the seat. Groups formed outside these cities, fighting for survival, Raiders attack in the night and melee becomes the new combat norm. Storm Sickness ravages large populations. They are discriminated against and hated against, considered a different race other than humans. Sanctuaries formed to protect the sick. The Kreed sit as the only group that can stop the Rymar's advance against the Sick. And in all of this mayhem, murder, chaos and misery, Kade Malken and Rovan Kreesh's stories shall unfold.

Sorah has been living in Orabonna valley all her life, in a seemingly perfect life. She is the perfect example of an elf according to the Monnare tribe of elves she is a part of.... That they know of. Her brother Niro, if you met them, you could say gladly lives in her shadow. She excels at water, though Maeve is thought to be much better. But her perfect life is shattered slowly as more and more gruesome and terrifying events happen. And as the truth of elven powers draws nearer, more and more do the causes of the events become clear. Soon, the lies and fakes will be wiped away and intentions will become clear. When the tribe threatens a friend, and a hurricane rolls in from the east, Sorah will make a choice: face the outside world, or the tribe. The enemy is everywhere. The entire American landmass, from Canada to South America, is being taken over by one Pack. The Alpha Kale either wipes out each Pack or takes it over. This kind of warefare hasn’t been for hundreds of years. Alphas and their families destroyed. Other supernatural species are being hunted down. Julia killed an Alpha when she was sixteen, the same year she got pregnant, which more or less guaranteed that she'd become Alpha by the time she was twenty five. Because the Elders believed she was too childish, too young, too inexperienced, she's been training in secret to become the future Alpha of one of the smallest Packs in the world. She's still a little childish, a little stubborn, passionate, and has temper issues but loves the idea of free love and peace. Sort of. Except that what her Pack is facing now is going to go against everything she wants to achieve for her Pack. Being in Australia, the effects of what her husband's uncle, Kale, is doing isn't felt quite as strongly. They are realistically too small to stop him, at least at first, but it won't be long before he comes for the only Pack that ever escaped his fighters. And on top of that, she's mama to two six year olds and two four year olds, married to two men who are impossible, and has to somehow accept that her kids are already starting school when she really hasn't grown up herself. Julia hasn't quite grown up herself or really come to terms with this powerful position she found herself in by accident. Hasn't quite settled into her new life as Alpha-in-training. But with the Pack's survival resting on Julia now... It's going to be a busy year.
