There were no other cars around, as no one would be foolish enough to leave the protection of their homes on a night such as this. Yet John drove even still. He knew not where he was going, nor where he came from, only that was incredibly urgent he depart. He hastily continued along, pushing faster, faster, faster- until he flew around a curve at such a speed his car couldn't gain traction on the wet, slippery road.
