These are feelings I have in the early morning, the ones that many others feel also. They tell a story, pay close attention. The story is more interesting than the author.

My friends have all made their mark in my life. They each have a page in the book recording my life. This is to show them that I appreciate them. Not all of my friends may read this, but to those who do will know. I am glad to call the people I trust my friends. I just hope they feel the same way in return.

You might be wondering why I named this book \backslash, why the \? what's your inspiration? And the answer is - There is no reason. I just thought the name with the sign at the beginning was cool so I did it. This was a collection of poems that had no correlation to one another in the start but as time went on and the book evolved; I had implemented a continuum to the last 7 stories as well as categorize and correlate all the poems in order, thus giving meaning to the collection; the name which had no meaning became significant in its own creation, giving itself value from its null beginning.

Collections of my poems that are about heartbreak, depression, abuse, and anxiety. I hope that at least one of my poems help someone know they aren't alone. 🖤
