Sophomore, Maliah Richards never really been one to believe in Fairytales like the ones you read in a thug love story book found in the back of the library by the urban section. But soon Maliah finds herself falling for Junior, Deondre Johnson. I guess you could say Deondre's your average "conceded light skin". Baby face , curly hair & taper. Did I mention has a way with females. He seems to change her whole look on those cheesy story's . But after finding out a secret he's been keeping Maliah has found herself in a predicament she can't bare to handle.

Park had stopped trying to bring Eleanor back. Although they said goodbye, it wasn't a goodbye. It was just a see you soon, but a little longer than the usual. (It's a fanfiction of the book Eleanor & Park, wrote by Rainbow Rowell, so I hadn't created the characters or the places.)

A project for my Junior English class, I wrote a poem based on Chapter 34 of "Until They Bring the Streetcars Back," by Stanley Gordon West. An easy read with heavy themes, the book is both parts beautiful and horrific and I recommend it to any reader that wants a book they can interact with and respond to.

College junior Kenzie McLaughlin doesn't really care about sports. However, this changes when her best friend was able to snag some good seats at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota, to watch the professional hockey team, the Minnesota Wild, play their next upcoming game against the Vancouver Canucks. Prior to puck drop at the X, Kenzie and her best friend stalk the Minnesota Wild roster for any "attractive" and "cute" guys, even though they knew that most of them were out of their league and already had their spouses. However, Kenzie lands her eyes on a guy who was native to Russia, who after stalking his social media for a little bit, looked like he needed someone to talk to. After messaging him, he responds pretty quickly and him and Kenzie spark a conversation. After the hockey game with the Wild getting the victory over the Canucks, the same Russian hockey player gifts Kenzie a stick with a message written on the scuffed tape, and Kenzie feels something she never thought she would experience-more so with a foreign hockey player. Little did she know that the Russian hockey player would return the same feelings right back at her, throwing her into a roller coaster of emotions, and even her own personal relationships...
