He finds himself back on Earth, consumed by his own guilt, hanging onto a sliver of hope to rewrite his story. That's where he meets Doctor Stephen Strange. (Its also important to mention that this takes place before Ragnorok.)

Loki sat with his hands in his lap, hanging his head. He was fiddling with the handcuffs around his wrists. "Loki," Loki looked up, and he looked disturbed. A man was staring at him, smirking, with a needle in his hand. "Are you ready to comply?" What? What the hell? What the hell? Would shield do this? Why would they need to? Ready to comply? What? He though he was already doing that. "What?" Loki asked. The man walked closer, and injected the need into Loki's arm. Loki squirmed, but stopped, and his eyes rolled back into his head. After defeating Thanos, Dr. Strange used the time stone to bring back not only Tony, but also Loki after much of Thor's pleading. At first everyone is skeptical even Loki. Why was he here? Did he really deserve to be back? What was he going to do next? Soon disaster strikes. A dark force arises, One much more powerful then anything The Avengers could have ever imagined. No one knew what would happen, who would win, who would fall. Some Thought Loki would help, others though he may betray them, But surly no one would have guessed that he would end up falling in love. Stephen strange enlists Loki to help him solve something strange that's been happening. Some thing loki calls 'husks' are starting to become more and more prevalent and they have to find the source. Little do they know it's a dark shadow form Loki's past, and strange and Loki grow close along the way.

Loki finally found the man he had been longing for for five years, but things that are broken can not easily be fixed. Loki still tries to block and blur his feelings with drugs and alcohol and Stephen tries his hardest to feel better about himself, as they both deal with the consequences of loosing someone you love. ~~~ Book four of the scarred fanfic. This one is MUCH more chill and more fluff based, and yes there will still be drama because of course there is this is a fanfiction with Loki in it what were you expecting.

Neither of the two expect to meet each other, but as faith has it (and the author) they encounter each other and both of them are surprised with their founding. (Slow burn. Like, really slow.)
