I don't see how that wouldn't affect our ability to change what happens to us." She paused noting the pale, panicked look on his face. "Is everything okay?" He had to tell her. The U.S.S. Enterprise has been sent on a mission to investigate an anomaly; the first known white hole in the universe. According to all known science this should not exist. What troubles Captain Pike the most though is a little blue box has fallen out of it. He now must decide whether to trust this mysterious Doctor and his friend Ruby Sunday. If he makes the wrong choice the fate of several universes could be at stake. The same plot as the Strange New Worlds episode Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow, but including Una rather than Kirk as La'an's time travelling companion. Felt it fit better and made for a better romance based on their connection. Scenes have been changed and adapted to fit her character and their connection better but it's the same basic plot, just a revised version.

(Set in the Prime Timeline) Before she became the Captain of the USS Jupiter, Kristen Lee was a Commander. Two decades before she becomes Captain, Kristen's parents die on the USS Edison. As of the, a young Commander Christopher Pike has the task of raising an eight-year-old girl. A girl who just lost her parents and who happens to be his goddaughter. After finishing her time at the academy, Kristen leaves for the USS Jupiter. Two years later, she leaves for personal reasons. She heads for Pike's location in space, Enterprise. Upon arrival, she is met with open arms and a warm hug. But her life isn't all stars and galaxies. It's only begun for the 25-year-old Lieutenant Commander. All characters belong to Gene Roddenberry. I own Kristen and any characters you don't recognize in Star Trek.
