Strangereal Histoires

This is the final part of my story, Ace Combat: Shadow War. If you haven't read Ace Combat: Shadow War yet I suggest you read it first and then the one shot after that called You Can't Go then come read this.

In the year 2032, Strangereal stands on the verge of revolution; countries are fading away, as corporate giants continue their rise, up-ending the entire fabric of nations. Over in Usea, the General Resources War rages on as Erusea faces down General Resources, and the players of ACES Online will make all the difference in deciding the future of Strangereal... or so it's hoped.

In October 2022, the Japanese company Argus released what was expected to be one of the killer apps on the NerveGear - ACES Online. A follow up to the VR mode for Ace Combat 7, developed into its own game, with a true multiplayer online experience, and a campaign set in the Strangereal world... What players weren't expecting, was for ACES Online to become a death game, trapping the players inside...

A perspective of witnesses that fought against or alongside "him".

This story follows the perspective of a young Erusean fighter pilot from his flight training to when he joins the Erusean Air and Space Administration's Sol Squadron and takes part in his first major conflict: The Lighthouse War. I wrote this story back when I first started my Archive of Our Own account about two years ago.
