This takes place in 1990 where Mike and the party went their own seperate ways, living in comfort and happiness. Mike still living with his parents decides to still write his novel about his adventures to cope with the loss of Eleven. Until something seems out of the ordinary to him, and he must bring everyone back for one last adventure.

MADELEINE MAYFIELD OR MADDY TO HER FRIENDS, well actually everyone. Madeleine sounds a little too girl-ish for her, spent her teen years in California when her parents were still together but following her mother's divorce and remarrying to Neil Hargrove, Maddy and her little sister moved to Hawkins to be with their mother. With that though, they now have an older stepbrother, Billy Hargrove who was a pain in the ass to the both of them especially Max because of her teenage rebel phase but Maddy always did everything to keep her sister safe.
