For as long as she can remember, Naiva Fahim has wanted to be a superhero. After a freak accident gave her fire powers and she saved her hometown in Florida, her dream came true when Nick Fury contacted the mayor and asked for Naiva to be an Avenger. Naiva felt like all her dreams and wishes were coming true in that moment but, she never would have expected the journey of love, friendship, betrayal, regret, and loss that lied ahead.

When Dr. Stephen Strange meets the Avengers reporter, Jasmine Ross, he's ready to put aside the old and begin a new. Yet, before anything can blossom, Strange has to go on a mission to retrieve a lost relic from the clutches of Hydra aided by the mysterious Gardenia. The newest member of the Avengers who he finds himself drawn to.

A short drabble written for the prompt "I would die for you, but I would not kill for you." Dr. Strange and his lover come to a conclusion that love isn't enough to keep them together when their ideals are so far opposite.
