Detective Tookie Olison has been hired to figure out the crime of a suburban house wife who’s been beaten to death. But somehow the victim is alive, and traumatised. Even in the hospital the victim is being tracked down for her death, the death that was supposed to happen. Now that Detective Tookie is following trails to catch the murder she has been targeted too. But when it comes to the murder it happens to be the person or thing that was least expected. One by one, a family goes down, not expecting, and not knowing who’s after them. Quinsten Roll will never be the same. The husbands shot once in the head, the wife’s beaten and left badly damaged. The teenagers shot close to the heart, and the young kids unharmed. One by one, the murder gains fame, One by one, the police are more under their heads than ever before.

So, everyone knows that a wooden stake kills vampires and garlic freaks the chizz out of them, right? Well, what if there was a new breed of vampires that wooden stakes and garlic didn't effect. Ollie is just a vampire who minds his own business when random people just come up to him and stab him in the heart. The news of an unkillable vampire has become a global story and has provided him with much attention that he didn't want. At least he knows he can be at peace when he's with his other 'mythical' creature friends, right? With an ex-girlfriend chasing him and a human girl trying to help him, how much can he sacrifice before he is finally safe from everyone and everything?
