Jhonalie Van der Wood is your average small town girl who has a few close friends, isn't the most popular, and kind of a nerd. Everything changes when Vampires come and dig up her parents past, they leave quickly, and she now has a passionatite hatred for vampires, as she learns more about her parents past she learns more about her future. But she wants Friendship and love, like a normal girl, and soon realizes shes far from normal. She's a vampire slayer. All she can do is kill vampires, and try not to fall in love with her new friend. She finds him charmiong and interesting, until she learns who he really is. ~Preview~ The other girl was taking care of the lock, it snapped open," She's going to be yummy," she added while licking her lips. she went to pull the door open i was fully prepared to stab her and everyone else, when a boy about my age maybe 17 or 16 burst threw the door he held a huge, sharp, knife, all the strangers attention snapped to him, the closet door slung open and i had a full view of him he was like a devilish angel, he had black hair that hung in his determined Green eyes, and he was madder than hell. He spoke to the 5 strangers," You killed my father and then this family. Your going to die." he whispered the last part. Then he charged for the nearest of the strangers. My heart leaped into my stomach.

Milly's best friend, James, changed. The day he got into the fight over Milly. He turned into a monster, a depressed monster. He was the reason Milly's parents died, he was the reason his parents died. He was the reason her life changed. At first it changed for the worst, but after her parents bodies are brought back from America, with the driver of the car that crashed into her parents, she changes. She is overcome with grief, but can this mysterious stranger who has all the girls in town falling for him, change her for the better?
