I love all things Edgar Allan Poe, so when I first read The Tell-Tale Heart, I wanted to write my own tale told from the murderer's point of view. The only way I could make my own story work is if I write my own way - not copy, no homages. And, of course, get to a frame of mind to become a madman -- religious-zealot-misogynistic-first-kill-crazy-madman head (or what I think it is like). So, this is it. This story is about an Orphaned girl whom was abandoned by her parents finding love and acceptance while overcoming challenging hurdles, bullies and life changing events. The story starts with her starting 6th grade as a middle schooler in the year 2006 in a fictional city located in the United States of America. You'll see her, and her friends grow as the story will continue into their adult lives. WARNING! The story will start like your average slice of life story, but it progressively get's darker. This story will cover extreme levels of bullying, violent death, torture, foul language, and strangulation self harm and unhealthy coping mechanisms. As such I'm rating my Story PG14 at the minimum and definitely rated M for Mature.

The average victim of abduction and murder is an approximately 11-year-old girl who is described as a "low-risk" child leading a normal family life. Finally, I ran for state representative in Arkansas in 2014 and am serving my third term in the House of Representatives. I serve as vice-chair to the House Judiciary committee and fight daily for children and victims in Arkansas and the nation.
