About 8 years after graduating from Night Raven College, Jamil comes back home to Silk City after a long journey. "Wait, Kalim has a kid?" Jamil curiously asked his sister. His name says it all for you. Weird. Abstract. Different. Quirky. Take it from him. He doesn't have a girlfriend anymore. He lives with his twin brother who he thinks is...you know. Even the neighbors get his name wrong by calling him, "Flint Rodger." But what's the weirdest thing? He gets sent to this public school where he meets a few people that are like him. Outcast. Maybe it's because they are involved in some weird program for the so-called "Gifted." Or maybe it's because they are going through some weird teenage phase that has them acting out. Either way, when people see Finn and they call him, "Flint", he knows that it means no harm. But maybe it's just his ways of being a teen boy. A teen boy in the real, real world that he can't figure out. And you call him weird...

Hestia suffered depression and was afraid to die. She found a book that prevents dying.

This short story is about a teenage girl struggling with anxiety when she gets told some heart breaking news.

It's not all fun and games for Shelby. She's in eighth grade, last year of middle school. The story talks about how she is growing up, feelings changes in herself and her relationships with other, and how stressful being a teenager can really be.

A series of poems that follow the theme of things I've never said aloud. There are the things I think about late at night when I reflect on my day and the things that go on in my life. I have many thoughts on my mind, I have a lot of conversations with myself about them, but I've never documented them. So this is my space to write it all down. I might not say it aloud, but at least I get to share it with some strangers on the internet. Maybe, you can relate to them too, and feel a little less alone.

Why? I step forward into the middle of the bustling life of Ikotun market. Taking in a deep breath I raise my hand to be level with my chest, my POS machine in it and I start to chant, "POS, POS" I am Kenechukwu and this is my life. ‎

Seventeen-year-old Jeremiah Davis hates the emptiness in his life. His mother's depressed and his father is too much of a coward to face it. So Jeremiah has decided to never face him again. Instead, he'll face his music. He knows it'll lead him to anywhere he wants: a prestigious arts university, a chance of a lifetime, and most of all, away from Smalls, Surrey (which is so tiny, it's even been taken off the map). But who would've thought it would lead him to love? Lead him to love an obnoxious, sarcastic, foul-mouthed, blue-haired girl, even if he won't admit it? No one would. Especially not Jude Jameson, an obnoxious, sarcastic, foul-mouthed, blue-haired teenager who would much rather spend her time at the local skate park or an alleyway, than anywhere else in the world. And definitely anywhere than in Jeremiah's company. But when an 'incident' occurs at their sixth form, fate throws the two in each other's paths and Jude is forced to take Jeremiah into the world of punk, indie, stressful parents and one-too-many beers. After spending the first six weeks of her junior year in the hospital, slightly depressed (but mostly tired) Everett Meyers finds it hard to fit back into the routine of her small Catholic school, especially considering she lost what little faith she had back at the hospital. So when Everett’s parents suggest that she move to a traditional high school after the semester ends, she’s quick to agree. Before she knows it, Everett is saying goodbye to everything she used to know and staring down the main (and very crowded) hallway of North View High School. Coming to a new school in the middle of the year proves more difficult than Everett thought, because she not only has a lot of school work to make up, but also has to figure out how the hell to make some friends. But when her counselor decides she needs a tutor, Everett gains a whole lot more than homework help. Because with Carson Heffer, there’s always more than meets the eye.
