This is a story about Dr. Edward Bach, the renown English doctor who discovered the 38 Bach Flower Remedies nearly 100 years ago. Beech is one of those 38 remedies. The story is told from the point of view of Bettina Rasmussen, a Bach Flower practitioner.

I'm not born to be cold, I just cared too much before. Jadah is a girl from a small town in Texas, when one day, she fell asleep and woke up in a place that was far from home. A place that was too insane for a name. It's not just her that is new to this place, there are exactly fourty nine other kids that woke up here too. All from a different state. And they are put in arena to fight to the death, and only three will survive. Only three will be able to live in the place with no name in peace, they will be able to become a citizen. But Jadah doesn't exactly want that, she wants to go home. But the outside world is gone, and she doesn't know that.

Is this the punishment for not getting good marks? What has he ever done to deserve this? Is he ever gonna get help? It can't be this unfair, right?
