After Jim enters the dark lands without his friends, Blinky, Claire, and Toby; they have to learn how to deal without him or the recently deceased Arrrgh around. But three months after he entered, the bridge starts to rebuild itself, and everyone in Trollmarket is forced to prepare for Gunmar's escape. Disclaimer! This is an alternate ending for TrollHunters. I started this before Seasons Two and Three came out, so it was originally a prediction for what was going to happen. But now it is an alternate universe, for what things could have happened after Jim entered the Dark Lands. Story takes place post season 3 of Trollhunters. Spoilers included. Still trying to blend his new form with his old life, Jim is ecstatic to have a seemingly average trollhunters call back in Arcadia. But things begin to seem strange when Strickler is the only one able to assist him on his quest. Jim doesn't suspect the changeling's plans before it's too late.

With Claire's Shadow Staff destroyed, the only way of seeing them is thanks to Merlin. However, the old wizard can't bring someone back from the dead, nor would he if he could. Jim is still hurt, but he can't let that stop him now, not with a new threat rising to the surface, even as the trolls seek a new home.

Penny and Bolt were heading to Arcadia Oaks until an accident killed her and Bolt survived as he ran to Arcadia where he met a boy and his friend as he gained his powers to fight evil and protect Jim at all costs.
