This work is pure fiction and the characters are based off of John Boyne’s The Boy In the Striped Pajamas. Some pages come straight from the book. Earlier this year in one of my classes, I had to write a chapter from a book that we read from a different character's point of view. I had chosen The Boy In the Striped Pajamas because it was truly a beautiful book that had a different perspective on World War II. Anyway, I chose Shmuel as my character because he was the boy in the striped pajamas. We never learned much about his backstory and I wanted to explore it, while leading up to events described in the story. I DO NOT OWN JOHN BOYNE'S STORY "THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PAJAMAS". I encourage everyone to read this book. It sends an important message with beautiful characters during a scary and horrible time.

GoldenKit is one of four kits to her ShadowStripe and AdderHeart. At once carefree, like all kits, she plays and sleeps and complains. As she advances towards apprenticeship, GoldenKit begins to notice that the deputy, LightningHeart, is acting strange. She also experiences LizardStrike's surly temper first-paw, when he cut open her nose as a kit. As GoldenKit grows up, she wants to wail like a newborn kit when disaster strikes and she's stuck in the middle with no where to go. Whoever created this should get part of the name credits for the Clans (except ThunderClan, which is utterly mine) because he/she inspired the names. I took very few from the site itself. There is/will be violence, but I am not rating it mature because it is the violence usual for the Warriors series, which I give credit to for the idea of talking cats in Clans.
