Mist has been wanting to join fairy tail for a long time, her dragon left her on July 7 the year X777. She's heard of other dragon slayers in this so called guild. But since she lived a farther distance it took her some time, she started to help people. And that's when they started to called her, "The First Female Dragon Slayer". Dragon Slayers are rare but so are Female Dragon Slayers. When she almost reaches her destination she and her exceed are swiped up in saving this town near Magnolia. when she finish a fight that was fairy tail's Strongest Teams fight. She catches the eye of a pink haired idiot, Natsu Dragneel.
