Khurafatjunction
Safar-e-Mohabbat: Qubool Hai
For as long as they could remember, Murtaza Ahmed Mirza and Almira Khan had been at war.
Not the dramatic kind.
The annoying kind.
The kind where one stole your cricket bat, the other hid your bicycle.
The kind where every family gathering turned into an argument.
The kind where neither of them could remember how the rivalry started, but both refused to lose.
Growing up as neighbours meant they were always around each other.
Unfortunately.
For them.
And fortunately.
For everyone else who enjoyed watching their daily battles.
While the Mirzas and Khans considered them family, Murtaza and Almira had a very different opinion.
They tolerated each other.
Barely.
So imagine their horror when their families came up with what they believed was the greatest idea in history.
Marriage.
Suddenly, years of arguments, competition, and mutual annoyance were replaced with engagement discussions, wedding preparations, and relatives who couldn't stop saying:
"Kitna pyara jora hai."
(What a lovely couple.)
Murtaza disagreed.
Almira disagreed.
Their families ignored both opinions.
Completely.
Now two people who can't spend ten minutes together without arguing are expected to spend the rest of their lives together.
What could possibly go wrong?
Or perhaps...
What could possibly go right?
Because sometimes love doesn't arrive with butterflies and grand gestures.
Sometimes it arrives disguised as endless arguments, stolen smiles, shared secrets, and the one person who has been driving you crazy your entire life.
Safar-e-Mohabbat: Qubool Hai
A story of family, laughter, chaos, friendship, and two neighbours who never imagined that their greatest rival might one day become the love of their life.
