Pulsars, children who wield special abilities that could shake the whole world. The minute they were discovered, their freedom was sealed. Every Pulsars had hoped for a hero to get them out of the stronghold that imprisoned and conducted experiments upon them. On one night, the stronghold was attacked. The Pulsars were facing extermination. Facing the attack, they ran, trying to stay alive. During that time, they were hoping for the hero to save them and help them escape the hell they were in. Will their hopes be true? Will the hero come? Would they be safe?

Dear Miles, The Devil has a STRONGHOLD!!! This Poem was inspired by everyday obstacles and problems that I, myself struggle with and I feel everyone will be able to relate in some way. Weather its on a daily stronghold, a demon, a habit, or obstacle that you have overcame or fighting to overcome and still struggling with. "Quick,over here!",Jay shouted over the sound of flying bullets. I positioned an unconscious Jeff in my arms, which was hard considering his bulkier frame, and chucked him towards Jay. Thankfully, none of the bullets hit him, which was good. I braced myself before sprinting and leaping behind the fallen log. I landed roughly next to Jeff and felt a slight pain on my arm. A small cut was visible on my upper right arm. It seemed like a bullet had grazed over it and pierced the skin a bit. I didn't pay much attention to it due to its insignificance compared to Jeff's wounds. A large gash was present across Jeff's forehead and blood was currently seeping through it. He had obtained it during our earlier scouting run. I took out my walkie talkie and turned it on. "This is Alpha 23 requesting backup and immediate medical assistance. Jeff has been severely injured. Over." A voice crackled through the static,"This is Gamma 46, Alpha 23. We are sending Zach and Jake your way now. Over." "Copy that, Gamma 46. Alpha 23 out.",I said before clipping the walkie talkie back on my belt. I glanced at Jeff and whispered softly,"Don't worry Jeff, help's on the way." ~•~ This story is the sequel to The Infected [1].
