"Quick,over here!",Jay shouted over the sound of flying bullets. I positioned an unconscious Jeff in my arms, which was hard considering his bulkier frame, and chucked him towards Jay. Thankfully, none of the bullets hit him, which was good. I braced myself before sprinting and leaping behind the fallen log. I landed roughly next to Jeff and felt a slight pain on my arm. A small cut was visible on my upper right arm. It seemed like a bullet had grazed over it and pierced the skin a bit. I didn't pay much attention to it due to its insignificance compared to Jeff's wounds. A large gash was present across Jeff's forehead and blood was currently seeping through it. He had obtained it during our earlier scouting run. I took out my walkie talkie and turned it on. "This is Alpha 23 requesting backup and immediate medical assistance. Jeff has been severely injured.
