This story is about the clash and eventual connection between two very different teens: Kyle, a privileged but underachieving rich kid, and Aiden, a hardworking, no-nonsense tutor from a humble background. It explores themes like responsibility, stereotypes, and personal growth as Kyle struggles to meet his parents' expectations while Aiden challenges his attitude and work ethic. Their forced partnership starts off rocky because of their opposing personalities and backgrounds, but it hints at deeper emotional developments as they learn from each other.
Kyle Ramirez is a 17yrs old senior who seems to have it all looks, charm, money, and popularity. But what he doesn't have? Good grades. His rich, perfectionist parents are threatening to cancel his dream trip abroad if he doesn't pass his final exams. As punishment, they hire a private tutor someone highly recommended but known to be "strict and intense."
Enter Aiden Cruz, 18, a no nonsense top student from a public school who tutors part-time to help his struggling family. Aiden thinks spoiled rich kids like Kyle are the worst entitled, lazy, and always getting what they want. From the very beginning, he makes it clear: He's not here to be Kyle's friend. He's here to make sure Kyle doesn't fail.
Kyle, who's used to getting his way, tries to charm Aiden at first with jokes, sarcasm, and flirting (partly just to annoy him). But none of it works. Aiden remains cold, professional, and distant.
