Ciara Reed arrived in England with two suitcases, a sharp mind, and no intention of letting romance rewrite the life she had planned. Oxford was supposed to be about ambition, discipline, and proving that a girl from Savannah could belong in any room she entered. Then there was Jackson Weston, impossibly composed, quietly persistent, and far too good at seeing past the walls she had built around herself. Years later, Atlanta had become the place where Ciara turned independence into an art form. She had built a life measured in achievements, polished appearances, and carefully protected boundaries. Yet some memories refused to stay buried. Grey mornings, cobblestone streets, handwritten words, and the unsettling feeling of being understood too well remained tucked beneath everything she had become. INCONVENIENTLY YOURS was a slow-burning interracial romance shaped by distance, ambition, longing, and the complicated beauty of being truly seen. Between Oxford's timeless halls and Georgia's heat, Ciara faced the tension between the woman she had worked so hard to become and the emotions she had never completely outgrown. Some connections arrived at the wrong time. Some crossed oceans without losing their meaning. And some became impossible to ignore, no matter how carefully the heart had learned to protect itself. © Relle H.

This isn't necessarily a love story. It's just a story about something that happened, something that ended, and the strange things we do with feelings that don't know where else to go. So this is me trying to make sense of what happened, and giving a place to a story that never really got an ending. If he ever reads these words one day, I don't want them to be mistaken for a plea or an attempt to rewrite history. This isn't that. This is simply my way of honoring a version of my life that existed because he was in it. For four months, an unfamiliar country became home. Not because I had learned the language. Not because I knew the streets. But because, somewhere in that unfamiliarity, I found someone who made it feel less foreign. And very now and then, when the air is cold enough, or I catch the smell of tobacco on somebody's jacket, I am twenty-one again, standing in a random street, looking down at my phone, smiling at a message so ordinary that no one else would have remembered it. I still do.

"You're just living in your phone." "Thailand? That's not a real plan." "Be realistic. Dreams like that don't happen to people like you." She heard it all. At 17, she was just a girl from India with an almost impossible dream's - to leave everything familiar behind and build a life in Thailand. A girl who found comfort in Thai BL series, Thai pop music, late-night conversations with people she had never met, and a phone screen that sometimes felt more like home than reality. While everyone around her was planning a "normal" future, she was planning hers differently. Thailand. A scholarship. A new life. A place where she could finally belong. But dreams look beautiful on a screen. Reality doesn't. There will be rejected applications, financial struggles, family expectations, loneliness, self-doubt, societal pressure, and countless people telling her that she's wasting her time chasing something unrealistic. And maybe, for a while, she'll believe them. Maybe she'll wonder if everyone was right. Maybe she'll almost give up. But what if the dream that everyone called impossible was simply a dream that needed more time? This isn't a story about a girl who had everything figured out. It's about a girl who kept walking even when she had no idea where the road would lead. From a phone screen to Bangkok. From watching her dream to living it. From "you can't" to "I did." Because sometimes, the most unrealistic dream is the one worth fighting for. ♡ A story about dreams, rejection, friendship, fandom, growing up, finding yourself, and finally becoming the person you always imagined. And maybe... this isn't just her story. Maybe it's the story of every girl who was told to dream smaller. Welcome to her story. Welcome to the beginning of everything. 🇹🇭✨ "One day, Thailand won't be something I watch through a screen." "It'll be the place I wake up in."
