The waves hit my face with full force as I tried drowning myself in the sea. I didn't want to live anymore. This was my second suicide attempt. Now that I have decided to end my life and I have taken an action towards it, I had this sudden desire to live. I was no professional swimmer but I hoped the swimming lessons that dad gave me before he left me to the cruel world would come to use now. I struggled to keep my head above water but the entrance of salty water in my mouth, nose, and eyes wasn't helping much. As I was about to give up I heard panicked noises of fishermen. Their panicked chattering sounded like cheers of encouragement to me. I was half dead but all I could be relieved about was I finally got help. My own blood and flesh didn't seem to care about me so much. Yet , a bunch of unknown fishermen seemed to care about my life. Highest rank : #149 in Teen Fiction
