Stuttering Stories

Alice Taylor begins her senior year at a new high school. Her shy personality, with her stuttering, makes it difficult to make friends. Her twin brother Asher, is more of the popular type. He has never had it difficult on that area. And even tho Asher wants to help, she want to make it on her own. Even tho making on her own, is by getting to know the school most feared guy.

"You have to beat the words, Marta, beat the stuttering. Learn to speak, to let your voice be heard." After her father's death, all Marta wants to do is hide. Hide from her stuttering. Hide from the world outside her home. Hide from her family who so often reminds her of him. But even Marta realizes she cannot hide forever, and staying hidden gets even harder when her mother decides they are leaving Germany for America. Trying so desperately to cling to her silence, Marta realizes her only relief is writing letters. Until she meets Emma, and the families she is forced to stay with. While the families try to help Marta find her voice; Marta realizes the only way to sail towards her family, is to sail away from her silence.

'Midoriya Izuku-kun?' Midoriya stands up grabbing Todoroki's shoulder to pull himself up more easily. 'Yes, sensei' Says the kid in question, awkwardly walking on his spastic legs towards the teacher's platform. 'What with this attitude! Shouts the teacher, making the kid suddenly stop. 'We are not in a circus! Walk properly! Do you think you are funny walking like a puppet with broken strings?!' The students start to murmur but a sharp gesture of the teacher makes the classroom to be silent again. 'I... I'm sorry sensei...' Says Midoriya, lowering his eyes. 'This is the only way I can walk... I... I'm disabled...' 'Disabled?' Says the teacher with a dismissive tone, deliberately staring at Midoriya's twisted legs. 'Why are you in this school then?' He rudely carries on. 'Why don't you attend a special institute, with the likes of you?'
