Stuttering Stories

Although complete opposites, love and hate often danced along a thin line. This was something Chance Bradshaw knew well. He's been crushing on Erik Myers for a long time, what with his chestnut eyes that Chance could get lost in and his Mr. Cool-and-mischievous attitude. Erik was always looking for fun, too bad he found it in tormenting and bullying Chance. Poor Chance, with his constant stutter and no friends to speak of, he didn't fit in with the rest of his school. The only person who cared about him and hung out with him was his older brother, Constance, or otherwise known as Stan. But could Chance have a shot at proving everyone wrong, including those who called him a poser? All he ever wanted was to fit in, and now, he just might get his chance. Whether or not he gets the boy is left to be seen.

"What's your name?" He asked, and I stood there frozen. The smile was warm enough, looked inviting as I swallowed my nerves. The stranger pulls his hand back, nodding to himself like he understands. "You don't have one?" I shake my head in reply, because I do have one but I can't say it. I decide to try my hardest to push back every doubt in my brain. "I have one," I pause before letting any words get stuck in my throat. I take another breath and shrug my shoulders to try and make the stranger back off. "It's a long name." The boy just smiled back. Simple and bright. "Enlighten me." - Madeline Parker and Eliot Joseph meet by chance. She's a girl that writers letters to express herself, because she's afraid that her stutter would show if she talked too much. He's a guy that wants to step out of his comfort zone, so what's better than opening the world to a girl that needs to see reality in its truth? In the end, will it be them against the world that Madeline thinks is so against her?

"D-do you want me... Wes?" he stuttered nervously. I looked into those large brown eyes, biting my bottom lip. "More than anything." It was silent for a moment, I didn't know what his next move would be, the acceleration of my heartbeat wasn't helping, and those cute innocent eyes, well, they weren't doing much to fucking help either honestly. "Then s-show me... show me you d-do..." And at that moment, I knew I was completely, totally, irrevocably, absolutely a hundred percent, in love with Sollie Days.

His words trapped under a freezing lake, his feelings enwrapped under frozen layers of an iceberg. The layers consisting of "K" sounds and drawn out "Oooo's." He was smothered under his personal frozen sea. He was still, but he was content. He didn't mind being an observer, it was safer to remain still. Flames would often brush up against him and he wouldn't know what to do, so he remained still. Hot summer, liquid heat, and shining stars would try to melt his icy exterior, but to no avail. He would often think that they gave up on him, but in reality, he knew he gave up on himself.
