Katie Summers has a stutter. Which wouldn't be a problem if she was still in her private school in Indiana, but she's not. Instead, Katie, is in small town New York and going to public school. She is starting 9th grade with her older brother, Matt, at Honey River High. Katie is nervous and I am really bad a summaries.

In 1994, Kathy falls in love with Amina. There isn't much to tell except she is gentle and beautiful and bad at picking up the telephone. Seven years later, Kathy is leaving her unanswered voicemails. She isn't sure how they got here, but she knows that there is no going back from it.

He father left her after birth, and her family lives out of the state. She never liked dating. Thats wasn't her cup of tea neither. She thought boys only wanted you for one thing. Sex. And they did.
