in the town of beacon hills, lydia martin's life could be described in one word: ordinary. her focus was excelling in all her junior year classes alongside her best friend, allison argent. this did not include participating in a late night search for a dead body with lacrosse co-captains. scott mccall and stiles stilinski (the latter, who she happens to despise). but she did, and she somehow ended up finding the body with no recollection of how the hell she did it. everything was ordinary - but what happened today, was everything but ordinary.

Set after the season 3 finale. Lydia has been struggling with the deaths of Allison and Aiden, and she feels herself needing Stiles more than ever. But now, Stiles has Malia. Lydia has been drinking excessively and crying herself to sleep, yet no one seems to notice. Or care. And that was before her mom gets diagnosed with cancer, and is only predicted to live for another month. Lydia feels as if she has nothing left to live for anymore. Will Stiles be able to pull her back, to help her? Or will she fade out of his life forever?
