Phoenix, living in an almost vivid and life-like dream, is stuck between a world of fictional creation and what she perceives to be as reality. Upon receiving a fatal injury to the brain, she is placed within the realm of her subconscious and desperately wants to escape. Having to travel through the various layers of her own personal hell, Phoenix attempts to wade through her innermost fears, philosophies, regrets and the inconsistencies that relates back to her mind's state of being: all with the accompaniment of a special companion. Knowing she is stuck within the confines of her internal sleep, Phoenix realizes that she must find the way out of her reverie and into the present. But how can she fathom escape when the illusion becomes much more real than the reality she is trying to return to?
